Send the quote. Get one honest read back.

One line, in writing: how far the price sits from the public band for that product class, and the two line items carrying the difference. If the price is fine, we say so and you have lost nothing but an email.

Email the quotation

[email protected] — a PDF, a chat screenshot or the pasted numbers all work.

What to send

  1. The quotation itself, as the supplier sent it.
  2. The quantity you intend to order, and the quantity the quote was given at.
  3. The incoterm and the port, if the quote states them.
  4. Your target market, so the comparison uses the right retail band.

What comes back

One sentence on the price level: where the quoted unit price sits against the public listings for the same product class, at the same quantity, on the date of the benchmark.

Two line items: the parts of the quotation that carry the difference — not a list of twelve suggestions.

One business day. No call, no meeting, no sign-up.

What this is not

We audit price, not quality. Inspection, compliance, certification and freight booking are outside this read. We do not take supplier commissions or referral fees, so the fee — zero for this read — is the only thing either side pays us. Your quotation is not shared with suppliers, and it is not used as a case study without your permission.

If the gap is real and you want the full picture, the paid report itemises the cost model and the comparable quotes: pricing and what a report contains. A finished one is readable in full: sample report.
