Supplier check

Supplier check: who you are actually buying from

A quotation tells you what the product should cost. It does not tell you whether the company behind it is a factory, a trading desk, or a name that appears on a blacklist. This checks one company: what the registry says, which of the two it is, and what the public records show.

Identity

What the business registry says about the company itself. We read the national enterprise credit register and the company's own annual filing, and put the four facts that carry a sourcing decision on the page.

Role: factory or trading company

The page states which one it is, and shows the evidence behind the call rather than the conclusion alone. Four things are written down:

Where the evidence conflicts, the page says the role is unclear and sets out both readings. An unclear case is not rounded up to "factory".

Record: what the public files show

Four registers, searched by company name and by registration number:

Each entry is copied as it appears, with its date and a link to the record. A register that returns nothing is written as not found. It is not written as clean, and it is not left out.

What you get

What we do not do

If a register cannot be read, or the evidence does not settle the question, the page says so. Where the answer is not there, it says not found and stops.

Price

Supplier check is $149 for one company, delivered in two business days. It is priced per company because the work is per company — it is not a fifth tier of the quote audit and it is not bundled with one. A quote audit does not include it, and it does not include a quote audit.

Checking the price instead of the company? The four quote tiers are here, from $29.

Check one company before the deposit

$149, one company, two business days. Send the name and, if you have it, the registration number.
